LIKE AN OLDER BROTHER

An inviting warmth is felt around the man; his friendly demeanor certainly adds to this.Gambeson knows very little about Lucian, other than what little he's shared about his background. Despite their lack of deeper interactions, his friendliness has cemented positive relations with the half-elf. His friendly banter and care for Gambeson's well-being gives him the impression of an older brother he'd never had.The half-elf feels incredibly grateful for his kindness, as not only has Lucian gifted him a free longsword he's also offered free work on Gambeson's shoddy equipment. He has no way to pay him back for now, especially since he refuses coin, but Gambeson is trying to think of one way or another he could repay the gesture.

RIVALS AGAIN! SORRY!

A trusted friend, a joy to be around, and a great sparring partner. With their growth intertwined, their rivalry is one of many reasons that spurs Gambeson to try and become a better fighter.The treatment he'd given to her prompts further regret. The two certainly have had an eventful history together. After everything he's at least glad the two seem to be on good terms, for now.Another duel awaits it seems. He's learned much and he's ready to see what new tricks Odera might have up her sleeve.

TRUSTED FRIEND

A trustworthy person. Having shown nothing but kindness to Gambeson, why else wouldn't he like her?Their friendship has been relatively plain. Despite initially meeting as the result of Gambeson being the assailant of an accidental near-fatal duel, a certain respect is given to Viktoria both as an individual and as an elder (compared to Gambeson, at least.)Comfort is felt around Viktoria given her open nature. Intrigue on Ko'ram has only been spurred further by stories shared by the half-elf. Further intrigue in the woman now lies in her mysterious Fable abilities, which Gambeson has yet to fully wrap his head around.

MYSTERIOUS MENTOR

Her off-putting demeanor is somewhat intimidating. Gambeson can't quite wrap himself around her dead-eyed look and bland expressions.Gambeson automatically holds her to a high regard due to her status as a captain of the militia. This is feeling is furthered once he'd learned of her background, prompting some respect to automatically be granted to the woman out of courtesy and a need to adhere to social hierarchies.Despite feeling somewhat intimidated by her demeanor and what he knows of her background, a peek into her past helped to humanize whom he initially perceived as an emotionless woman.Most of Gambeson's improvement as a fighter has come as a result from sparring with Helara, and the half-elf feels quite grateful for the improvements she'd made to strengthen his understanding on such matters. He wishes to pester her for more training.

• MALIKETH

#2 IDOLIZED KNIGHT

An armor-clad knight, certainly something Gambeson might have only dreamed of seeing up until he'd come to the Spire.Maliketh and Gambeson have had few interactions. Even so, with what few words they've spoken to each other the knight has had a greater impact on the half-elf than most. Even wielding the same choice in armaments, a duel Maliketh took part in had etched itself into Gambeson's mind, and the skill displayed in single duel alone prompted him to try and mimic some aspects of his fighting style.Their first duel has left Gambeson wishing for more to learn from the knight and his association with the Lady of the Lake draws a parallel between him and Gambeson's father. Gambeson hopes that some time in the future he may have the opportunity to train under and maybe even get an audience from the Lady, much like his father before him.

BRACCHUS

SUPER COOL STRONG GUY

A fellow warrior who offered some mentorship in swordplay. Though nearly twice his height and intimidating to the youth, Gambeson is in awe with the man's strength and skill with a greatsword.The half-elf knows some tidbits of Bracchus' background but he feels he's yet to get to truly know the man. At the very least he knows Bracchus is an individual to be respected and stories told of his strength and first-hand experience both leave Gambeson amazed.Though the prospect of reaching his level of strength may be nothing more than a dream, Gambeson hopes he can at least learn to be be more of an effective fighter under Bracchus' tutelage.

YRN'HA

AWESOME FIGHTER

Gambeson doesn't know much about Yrn'ha considering they've very limited moments together. However, two things are for sure: she hits hard and he thinks she talks funny.Gambeson is intrigued and would like to know more about them if permitted, maybe even spar again some time soon.
